A semi-annual sober retreat.

Founded by Bob T., in 1995, this weekend retreat  is focused on recovery through the twelve steps by sharing our common experience, strength, and hope.

We embrace members from all  twelve step fellowships and everyone is welcome regardless of where you are in your recovery path.

This retreat is not for profit, as is the Wilson House where it takes place, and relies on the support of its volunteers and donors.

"A WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITY"

Since the day I first went to the Wilson House my recovery has never been the same. It is one of the cornerstones of my AA journey. I was terrified when I first arrived and left with a wonderful extended family of fellow recovering men. I have only missed three (I think!) retreats since they started and I hope I don't miss any more. A wonderful opportunity to fine tune my program while also being of service to others. Come join us!

"KEY PART OF MY RECOVERY"

It is a key part of my recovery, sometimes the only time in a year I get to focus on where I really am and how I am doing. This fall I did not know how bad I needed it until it was over and I was suddenly aware of many defects brought to light. Glad my tools are sharp enough to remedy that. Thanks, Everyone.

"QUALITY OF SOBRIETY"

Best one yet (again). The experience of the retreat is hard to explain to one who hasn't gone. Today is 10/22 - two days since we ended and I come back to LA full of enthusiasm and serenity.  Thanks to those who went for improving the quality of my sobriety.

"KEY PART OF MY RECOVERY"

Learning about the wisdom tradition of the 12-steps in its birth place had a very powerful impact on my recovery. I am grateful to have met so many men there with solid recovery, sharing their experiences of healing a spiritual disease by creating a deep connection with our higher power!
